Promo  Emails

RTX Platform periodically ran flash promotions where free credit was given to users who funded their accounts. These promotions were wildly popular, especially with power users. 

 

Promotions were usually marketed with a teaser email 24 hours before the promotion began, an announcement email when the promotion kicked off, and a reminder email before the promotion ended. Occasionally, RTX would extend promotions an additional day, which would be announced the following day with an extension email and included a final reminder email.

Each of these emails was scheduled to automatically coincide with the recipient’s time zone.
